Our Commitment To You

The Elms Hotel and Spa is committed to caring for our guests, colleagues and community, as your safety and wellbeing is always our top priority.  Never has that commitment been clearer than it is now and that is why we are making several changes to employ stringent cleaning and safety practices for your peace of mind. 

Per Clay County Guidelines, anyone who is not fully vaccinated should continue to take precautions such as wearing a well-fitted mask and social distance when you can. 

In response to the dynamic COVID-19 situation, we would like to share actions The Elms is taking in caring for our guests and colleagues:

  • Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ certified LEARN MORE
  • Increased frequency of cleaning with hospital-grade disinfectants on all high-touch surfaces and areas such as lobbies, guestrooms, restaurants, meeting and event spaces, recreational areas, public restrooms, fitness centers, locker rooms, elevator buttons, all employee areas, and more
  • Implementation of enhanced food safety and hygiene protocols for restaurants, room service, and group meetings and events
  • Prominently placed hand sanitizer stations throughout hotel public and employee areas and entrances
  • HVAC UV air purifier and coil sterilizer installed in all public space units to ensure sanitization and air quality
  • Protective masks and other equipment worn by hotel colleagues
  • Social distancing guidance in public areas across hotel properties
  • Evolving new policies in consideration of guidance and information shared by various health organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), local authorities, and other leading organizations and experts

Hyatt has proudly announced the Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment, which focuses on the safety and well-being of colleagues and guests in a COVID-19 world and beyond. The commitment includes plans for hotel-level health and sanitization accreditation and hygiene specialists, as well as a working group of trusted medical and industry advisors. We continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation, remain vigilant, and follow recommended precautionary measures, protocols and guidelines from the Clay County Health Department on the Coronavirus front (https://www.clayhealth.com/) in an effort to ensure our guests, colleagues and community remain in a safe and healthy environment. We will make operational changes and consider additional precautionary measures, as necessary.

Spa

Hours

Sunday-Thursday 9 AM-7 PM

Friday and Saturday 9 AM-9 PM

What we ask of you as our guest:

  • All guests are required to wear a mask during their spa day. We ask that you kindly bring a mask or face covering with you. 

  • Guest will not be required to wear a mask when they are in prone position, or while receiving facials, and vichy shower treatments. Salon services (hair, nails, makeup) will require a mask during their service.  

  • If you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms on the day and time of your treatment, you will need to reschedule your appointment, and your cancellation fee will be waived.

  • If you arrive for your spa/salon service with flu-like symptoms, we will reschedule your appointment for a later date, and your cancellation fee will be waived.

  • Share special sanitation or hygiene requests prior to arriving at the spa.

Grotto

Hours

What we ask of you as our guests:

  • Two hours of Relaxation Space/Grotto access will be granted per person with a confirmed spa treatment. This time may be used directly following your spa treatment. If you have a spa treatment schedule on our closing hour, you may utilize the relaxation space two hours prior to your treatment.
  • Follow proper social distancing protocol while utilizing grotto services

Ghost Tour

Tour Time-9 PM (approx. 45 min-1 hour)  Additional tours will be added based on demand.  

$20.00 per person

6 AM-12 AM (11 PM Quiet Time)

  • Follow proper social distance protocols while around pool deck and in hot tub.  

What you can expect to see:

  • Pool loungers, chairs and tables will be separated to promote social distancing and sanitized after use.

  • Cardio equipment max usage time 45 minutes. 
  • Guests are encouraged to disinfect equipment prior to use and after each use.

  • Some cardio equipment will be marked as "unavailable" to promote social distancing. 
  • All equipment will routinely be sanitized throughout the day.
